Abigail: A fun horror movie from the Radio Silence duo

Five years ago, the directing duo of Radio Silence released the horror comedy “Ready or Not” to rave reviews and got them the job to direct the next two films in the “Scream” franchise. The two “Scream” movies got positive reviews and established the Radio Silence duo of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett as one of the best horror directors working today. “Abigail” is a crazy horror film with excellent performances, terrifying moments, and incredible visual effects. Alisha Weir gives an amazing and frightening performance as the title character, Abigail, who is a ballerina who also happens to be a vampire. Melissa Barrera gives a fantastic performance as the leader of a group of criminals assigned to capture Abigail. The supporting cast features many great performances in this film, including Dan Stevens, Will Catlett, Kathryn Newton, Kevin Durand, Giancarlo Esposito, and Angus Cloud in his final film appearance following his death last summer. Thanks to its fantastic direction, terrifying visuals, and excellent performances from Weir, Barrera, Stevens, and Newton, “Abigail” is a fun horror movie that continues to establish the Radio Silence duo as one of the best horror movie filmmakers working today.
