Godzilla vs. Kong review: The battle of the century between the two titans is a fantastic joyride from start to finish. Adam Wingard's latest film pays respect to the two legends by setting up the conflict as to why these two must fight. As a result, you can't help but root for them to succeed when they collide. The visuals on both Godzilla and Kong look incredible, and it feels like we are seeing two giant monsters fight to the death as opposed to a CGI slugfest. Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler reprise their roles from 2019's "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," which I felt their performances came off as bland and uninteresting. However, in "Godzilla vs. Kong," their roles are elevated, and their characters are exciting, making it easier to understand their role for Godzilla and Kong. They are also joined by a fantastic ensemble cast, including Alexander Skarsgård, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, and Demián Bichir. "Godzilla vs. Kong" is a masterpiece that succeeds in giving us the ultimate face-off that Godzilla and Kong rightfully deserve. Thanks to Adam Wingard's incredible direction and fantastic visuals, "Godzilla vs. Kong" is an absolute blast from beginning to end. While the film is only two hours long, I could have sat and watched these two iconic characters battle for endless hours. The never-ending conflict between Godzilla and Kong leaves you wanting more, even after the film is over.
