Using a recording from a performance that took place in 2016, the film allows us to see the original cast of the broadway musical give fantastic performances which include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Christopher Jackson, Jonathan Groff, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Okieriete Onaodowan, Anthony Ramos, and Phillipa Soo. “Hamilton” is a once in a lifetime experience that will appreciate what Alexander Hamilton did to our country as one of the nation’s founding fathers. Thanks to its fantastic story, performances, and music, “Hamilton” is one of the best musicals ever made. Lin-Manuel Miranda is one of the best entertainers working today, and with work like this and “In The Heights,” it’s easy to see why.
