Despite having some fun action scenes and great characters, "The 355" comes off as a forgettable action film from director Simon Kinberg. The plot is typical by the numbers spy film that has been done to death several times before in other but unlike this film, which is far superior to "The 355". The film is also highly predictable, where certain moments that could come off as big reveals are filmed in such an unconvincing way that it comes off as lazy. The film's best part was the action scenes and performances by the five leading stars. Jessica Chastain, Penélope Cruz, Fan Bingbing, Diane Kruger, and Lupita Nyong'o were all fun to watch, and they all have great chemistry, making this film ok to watch at times. "The 355" tries to offer a flavor of fun, but Simon Kinberg's direction sucks away all of your hopes of enjoying this film that not even the main cast could save this disaster.
