The eighth film in the supernatural franchise known as “The Conjuring” may provide some exciting scares, but it comes off as the weakest entry within the solo Conjuring trilogy. The pacing and the story run as fast as a snail, and unlike the two previous films in “The Conjuring” trilogy that had interesting stories and scares, this film moves so slow, and the real scary moments come from the land of boredom. The only positive I have for this film is that Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are pretty good reprising their Lorraine and Ed Warren roles, respectively. Still, their performances are not enough to save this movie. “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” is not the worst film “The Conjuring” film universe, but it is the worst of the three Conjuring films. The film is a snoozefest that overstays its welcome and if I have any advice to give, save your money because you will die at the hands of the boredom devil.
