The Rhythm Section: A boring and predictable spy film that had promise but failed

I’m going to make this one very quick because there’s not much to say about a film I’ve seen and talked about that is the same generic by the numbers action film. Despite having some pretty cool action sequences and an excellent lead performance by Blake Lively, “The Rhythm Section” is a messy action film that is filled with numerous shaking cam sequences that makes it hard to see, predictable twists and turns, and has more questions than answers that don’t get solved. As cool as it’s premise sounds “The Rhythm Section” could’ve been an excellent spy thriller, but it’s predictable and boring premise makes it mess the boat entirely.
