Twisters: A fun action sequel that feels like an ordinary movie

Serving as a standalone sequel to the 1996 action disaster film "Twister," "Twisters" is a fun action film that takes a more dramatic direction through its screenplay, effects, and excellent performances from its lead actors. After receiving Oscar nominations for the 2020 film "Minari," Lee Isaac Chung follows up his indie success with a high-budget studio film, proving whether the budget is big or small. He is a director who is not afraid to try new things and succeed in the process. Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Ramos deliver fantastic performances as the three main characters and have great chemistry within the trio of actors. Thanks to Lee Isaac Chung's excellent direction, amazing visual effects, and fantastic performances from Edgar-Jones, Powell, and Ramos, "Twisters" is a fun experience you will have this summer at the movies and is a worthy follow-up to the original 1990's film.
